Ken Koepsell, Director, Nightfire Drum Line
I will graduate with a a degree in Criminal Justice from Minnesota State Community and Technical College in 2010. I am a registered First Responder and will be continuing my training to the EMT level and possibly Paramedic level. I am an avid musician, playing percussion, many members of the brass family and the electric and contra bass. I continue to participate in Nightfire Drum Line and the marching percussion arts as whole because I believe it is a healthy outlet for youth to learn new skills and a good work ethic.
Experience: Five Buffalo High School Summer Marching Band seasons (1 cymbals, 1 bass and 3 snare). Four seasons in Buffalo Winter Drumline (1 bass drum and 3 tenors). 2006 Minnesota Brass Inc. (Baritone) and one year Nightfire Winterline (Bass drum). I am also an experienced drum set player and participated in Concert band throughout High School (percussion). I am the current Director of Nightfire Drum Line.
