January 10, 2008 - Update

So we figured some of you would like to know what we have been doing these past few months so here's an update.

In November we were working on cleaning up the warmups and working on the show music. By October, Greg came back from England where he performed with the Kidsgrove Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps. He has become very creative with out pit instruments. He actually took an old snare that was laying around, drilled some holes in it, put tenor heads on the snare and turned it into a funny looking bass. We are glad he is back and we wish him luck on his job quest!

In December we received more mind-blowing music and started working on that piece. Also we are happy to welcome a new member who graduated from Buffalo High School to fill one of our vacant positions in the bass line. The performance season is just around the corner and everyone is getting excited to go out and put on a great show. We also hope everybody had a awesome break!

Currently we are cleaning up the show music and learning the drill. We have a tenative schedule that will be up here once it is completed. Check back soon!

September 6, 2007 - Winter Camp Set

This first rehearsal is going to be the basics. A few rehearsals later we will tryout for our places.

May 15, 2007 - Summer Line Begins!

This is our second continuing summer season and we are excited to have a summer line again. This year we have some new members and we are all getting down to drumming. This year we plan on having one or two parades a week(end). We don't have a schedule yet but when we do it will be up here. We hope to see you in the crowd!

April 1, 2007 - MPA Finals

We received third place but still had a lot of fun at St. Cloud State.

February 24, 2007 - MPA's

Night Fire Winter Drumline places 1st in Independent A Marching Class MPA competition at the Douglas J. Miller Indoor Percussion Festival in Monticello, MN.

Night Fire Winter Drumline places 1st in Independent A Marching Class at the Bulldog Winter Classic in Becker, MN.

February 11, 2007 - MPA's (Minnesota Percussion Association)

Night Fire Winter Drumline places 1st in Independent A Marching Class MPA competition at Rock the Sauk in Sauk Rapids, MN.

October 25, 2006 - Winter Line Camp Set

Our first camp for the 2007 winter line season is on Saturday November 4 and Sunday November 5 and we can't wait for it. More information about this camp is in our camp section.
